What exactly is an EPC?
It is a survey of your property carried out by one of our suitably experienced and qualified assessors.
What do I get?
A written survey detailing the following:
- Orientation of the property.
- Property age which will indicate the type of construction and the levels of insulation provided.
- Additional insulation provided (if any).
- Dimensioned floor plan.
- Number of heated habitable rooms.
- Type, size and orientation of all windows and doors.
- Heating controls.
- Boiler type, efficiency and fuel type.
- Exposure of external walls.
- Estimated carbon dioxide emission and the yearly fuel costs.
How much does it cost?
There is an all inclusive price of £70 which includes your property being registered. A reduction in fees can be arranged for owners of multiple properties.
How long do I have to wait for my certificate?
From you initial inquiry to receiving your certificate can normally be done within a 48 hours period.
Are you registered to carry out surveys and issue EPC’s?
Yes we are registered, approved and monitored by the Building Research Establishment and are also members of the Association of Building Engineers. We are also fully insured for accidental damage and public liability.
